Self-Portrait (repost)

I've posted this photo before , but it seemed a nice one to end with. I've come to the end of the material that I want to share he...

In memory of Dick Hibbert (1933-2010), I am posting selections from his art. He painted in oil, was an avid photographer, did watercolors, and sketched in pencil, ink, and charcoal.   You can send me email by addressing it to my first name at mydruthers.com. --Chris

Introduction

Richard Tudor Hibbert (1933-2010) was an architect, engineer, builder, artist and teacher. This blog is a celebration of his art. I am going to post copies of his photos, paintings, sketches, watercolors, etc. here. I currently have collected and prepared more than 100 of them, but there is much more to do. In particular, the only representations of his photography that I have ready to post are photos of his enlargements and a few of his photo books. The large collection of slides and negatives are going to take more work to sort through, scan and edit.

The plan is to post a new piece every few days. I will probably throw in stuff other than his visual art every once in a while (architecture, remembrances, etc.) I have enough that I should be able to make progress on curating the remainder while running through the backlog. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
